Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of key commercial responsibilities across a designated section of this major project. Operating with autonomy, you will:


*Lead commercial tasks and processes, exercising sound judgement within your area of responsibility.
*Work closely with the Project Manager or Commercial Manager on all commercial and contractual elements.
*Protect the organisation’s commercial position through strong contractual, commercial, insurance and legal expertise.
*Build and maintain effective client relationships to support smooth commercial progression.
*Provide leadership, development and support to junior commercial team members.
*Apply strong commercial and technical knowledge to identify solutions that support delivery goals.
*Prepare and manage subcontract tender processes, evaluate returns, make recommendations and ensure accurate and timely placement of subcontracts.


What you’ll need to succeed
*B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience.
*Proven experience working with NEC contracts.
*Background in large-scale infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
*Professional membership such as RICS, ICES or CIOB (advantageous).
*Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
*A proactive mindset with the ability to lead, mentor and drive commercial excellence.
*A valid right to work in the UK.
