Job Description:
Police Staff Investigator needed in Gloucester Paying £19.24 per hr ref 373314
Full time hours on a temporary basis
*Conduct proportionate investigations into a range of crime types
*Obtain and record witness statements in accordance with legislation
*Prepare and manage investigation files for criminal justice processes
*Carry out suspect and witness interviews (following PIP1/PIP2 guidance)
*Gather, analyse and evaluate intelligence and evidence
*Conduct house-to-house enquiries and CCTV/tracking enquiries
*Liaise with victims, keeping them updated on investigation progress
*Support officers with case building, file management and disclosure
*Maintain accurate records on relevant police systems
