Job Description:
Fin Search are recruiting a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis for a multinational business based in south Pontefract.
The business is easily commutable from Barnsley, Wakefield and Doncaster.
The business is operating a hybrid working model - 4 days in the office and 1 day at home.
Reporting in to a high calibre Finance Director, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial information including statutory and management reporting.
Duties will include, however are not limited to, balance sheet reconciliations, supporting consolidation and reporting to group, maintaining general ledger accuracy, assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance to UK GAAP and IFRS, supporting with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cost analysis.
This role will also develop within the first 6 months to have a member of staff reporting in.

The successful candidate will:
*Be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified
*Have worked in a relevant technical financial accounting role previously - practice or industry
*Have strong Excel skills
*Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
