Key Responsibilities
*Lead mechanical engineering activities across multi-disciplinary product development projects
*Deliver innovative mechanical solutions using CAD, CAE and analytical modelling
*Oversee project delivery, budgets, timelines and client communication
*Mentor and support junior Mechanical Engineers, reviewing and guiding their work
*Develop prototypes and test rigs using both low-volume and high-volume manufacturing technologies
*Work closely with electronics, software, design and research teams to integrate mechanical systems
*Support the full product lifecycle from feasibility and concept generation through to manufacturing and launch
Essential Skills & Experience
*Degree (1st or 2:1) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
*Strong experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer or Product Development Engineer
*Proven background in product design, mechanical development, CAD/CAE, engineering analysis and prototyping
*Experience working with a range of materials and manufacturing processes, including injection moulding and rapid prototyping
*Ability to lead engineering workstreams and manage client relationships
*Demonstrated success delivering complex mechanical engineering solutions
*Strong mechanical problem-solving skills with a creative, practical approach
