A long-established engineering business in Warrington is looking to appoint an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead operations across a fast-paced, high-mix production environment. This is a key role within a growing organisation, offering the scope to shape processes, drive performance, and influence long-term strategy.
Your new role
You’ll take full ownership of day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring output, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved. Working closely with engineering, planning, and supply chain teams, you’ll lead continuous improvement initiatives and embed a culture of operational excellence.Key responsibilities include:
*Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary production team
*Driving OEE, productivity, and quality improvements
*Implementing lean manufacturing tools and best practice
*Ensuring compliance with H&S and regulatory standards
*Supporting NPI and engineering change activity
*Managing KPIs, resource planning, and performance reviews
What you’ll need to succeed
*Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role within engineering or industrial production
*Strong understanding of lean methodologies and modern manufacturing principles
*A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and influence teams
*Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
*A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational efficiency
