Purchase Ledger Controller
Job Description
*Administer the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made within agreed terms
*Reconcile invoices against delivery notes and purchase orders, completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
*Prepare and process supplier payments, including BACS payment runs and purchase summaries
*Support the Finance Manager and Head of Finance & IT, including deputising when required and contributing to team priorities
*Maintain accurate financial records, support system improvements, and contribute to continuous process improvement

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
*Degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years’ relevant finance or bookkeeping experience
*Proven experience managing a purchase ledger and supplier accounts
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet monthly deadlines
*Highly self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
