Job Description:
Sanza are working in partnership with a Hospital School in Camberwell, Southwark which is a hospital for medical needs for children and young people aged 4 - 19 year who are inpatients and day patients. All students have medical needs.
Teacher - Primary and Secondary - KS1 - KS5
Salary: MPS2-UPS
Contract: 5 days per week
Location: Camberwell
Nearest Station - Denmark Hill
Start Date: Feb 2026 to July 2026
Details of the role:
*Hospital School are looking for a teacher who is comfortable teaching across Primary and Secondary in either Maths or English (must have recent teaching experience in 1 of these subjects)
*The role is based in a hospital school, where you will be teaching 1:1 on the wards or in the main classroom depending on numbers for the day
*Liaise with hospital ward staff to ensure the wellbeing of students.
*Ofsted Outstanding Hospital School
*Pupils aged 4 - 19 who are patients of medical hospital
Key Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status
*Previous UK experience in a secondary setting and happy to teach primary aged students
*Has proven good teaching across the curriculum
*Can work well in a team and show initiative
*Has experience of teaching either in a mainstream and/or special school setting
*Not required to have worked with medical needs but must have recent experience of teaching Maths or English
*An upbeat personality with a positive attitude!
