Credit Control Specialist – 12 Month Project (Aged Debt Ledger Cleansing)
Join a high performing team and play a key role in a major systems migration.
Are you detail driven, organised, and confident working with aged debt? This is a rare opportunity to join a nationwide organisation on a 12 months credit control project, supporting the Debt Control Team during a major UK wide systems migration. If you’re looking to build solid commercial experience and take ownership of meaningful work, this role will grab your attention.
As part of the Debt Control Team, you’ll be responsible for cleansing and reconciling historical debt across multiple offices, ensuring accurate, timely debt recovery and smooth migration to the new platform. This is a varied role where no two days look the same: you will investigate accounts, communicate with key stakeholders, escalate overdue files, and support essential credit control processes.
This role will allow you to showcase your credit control expertise and develop new skills while working with Senior Managers, Directors, Managers and Business Development Directors. You will gain exposure to legal escalation procedures, month end reporting, account reconciliation and FCA aligned processes. You will work independently, take ownership of your accounts, and make a visible impact on the organisation’s financial accuracy.
