Children and Families Team - Social Worker


Pay rate in line with the All Wales Pledge - £38.43 Umbrella


Caerphilly County Borough Council
*To identify unmet need arising from assessments, and bring these to the attention of managers within Childrens Services.
*To assist in the collection of data by ensuring that the required administrative processes are properly completed at the required time.
*Demonstrate professional competence in social work practice.
*To attend agreed training to improve knowledge and skills, both for skill enhancement and personal development.
*To attend departmental meetings, and provide written or verbal reports as required.
*To liaise and work jointly with staff of other Directorates and agencies as appropriate.
*To ensure that all work is carried out in line with statutory requirements and the Directorates policies and procedures.

*A relevant Social Work Qualification
*Registration with Social Care Wales
*Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
*3 Years of referencing
*Driving license with access to a car
