Why This Role?
Are you a graduate looking for a role where your organisational skills, people skills, and values really matter? This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, purpose driven organisation where no two days are the same and where your work genuinely helps people.
As a Graduate Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of the service. You’ll be the first friendly face and reassuring voice many people encounter, helping create a safe, welcoming, and non judgemental environment. Alongside this, you’ll gain hands on experience in administration, coordination, and professional office operations, an ideal foundation for a wide range of career paths.
What You’ll Be Doing

*Acting as the first point of contact, answering calls, welcoming clients, and managing enquiries
*Recording referral information with care, accuracy, and sensitivity
*Coordinating appointments and supporting counselling schedules
*Communicating with clients, counsellors, and volunteers via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams
*Maintaining accurate digital and paper records in line with GDPR
*Producing professional documents, letters, and reports
*Supporting the smooth running of the office through general administrative tasks
*Ordering supplies and completing routine health and safety checks
*Taking part in training and development to build your skills and confidence
*Getting involved in a variety of tasks that support a busy, people-centred service
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need years of experience, we’re looking for potential, attitude, and enthusiasm.
You’ll be:
*A graduate (or equivalent) keen to start or develop a professional career
*Organised, reliable, and comfortable juggling different tasks
*Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel
*A clear and friendly communicator, both written and verbal
*Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
*Professional, discreet, and committed to confidentiality
*Calm and resilient in a busy environment
*Empathetic, non-judgemental, and committed to equality and inclusion
It’s a bonus if you have:
*Experience in an office, voluntary, or support-based setting
*An interest in counselling, wellbeing, or support services
*Welsh language skills
*Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard office hours
What You’ll Get in Return
*A meaningful role where your work has real impact
*A welcoming and supportive team environment
*A generous pension scheme and benefits
*Ongoing training and development opportunities
*Valuable experience that will strengthen your future career options
