Job Description:
First Achieve’s Engineering Division are seeking a Valve Technician for their client who are a with a leading organisation in the Oil and Gas industry supplying their client valves and actuators worldwide.
Full Time - Dayshift.
Salary £38-40k + OT/ Offshore Work
Role:
*Strip, inspect, assess, report and rebuild all valve types and operators.
*Fault finding to assess root cause of receipted valve failures.
*Pressure testing to various specifications and international standards.
*Development through continued training.
*PSV recertification campaigns.
*Working closely with co-workers and management to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
*Completing documentation / QA Cards associated with repair scopes and testing.
*Ensuring compliance to documented procedures and customer specifications.
*Travelling to customer locations to carry out field service work when required.
Qualifications:
*Time served with at least 6 years’ experience preferable.
*NC/HNC in relevant domain.
*Knowledge on a variety of valve types.
*BOSIET and MIST certified.
