?? What You’ll Be Doing
As their go-to Bookkeeping pro, you’ll play an essential role in keeping clients’ finances running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:
*Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
*Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment runs
*Reconciling bank statements and overseeing cash flow
*Preparing clear, insightful financial reports for clients
*Assisting with payroll and ensuring timely tax submissions
*Handling client queries with professionalism and a smile
*Supporting accountants with audits and tax preparation
*Using accounting platforms like QuickBooks and Xero
*Monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
*Always ensuring confidentiality and security of financial data
?? What They’re Looking For
*Previous experience as a Bookkeeper — ESSENTIAL within an accountancy practice or Self Employed Bookkeeping
*Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
*Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
*Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
*A positive, client-focused approach
