Financial Wellbeing Family Hub Coach Household Support Fund

We’re recruiting Financial Wellbeing Family Hub Coaches to support residents across Staffordshire to improve their financial stability, build resilience, and reduce the need for specialist interventions.

This is a rewarding frontline role working directly with individuals and families, helping them access support, improve outcomes, and feel more confident managing their financial wellbeing.

About the Role As a Financial Wellbeing Family Hub Coach, you will:

*Work directly with residents across Staffordshire to improve financial wellbeing outcomes


*Provide targeted, practical support to individuals and families facing financial hardship


*Deliver one-to-one and group-based financial wellbeing interventions in Family Hubs and community settings


*Support residents to access emergency and targeted financial support where required


*Signpost and coordinate support with partner agencies and community services


*Build strong multi-agency relationships to ensure joined-up, early help support


*Promote healthy lifestyles, financial resilience, and improved life chances


*Maintain accurate records using IT systems and contribute to data gathering and reporting


This role requires a flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work confidently with people facing complex challenges.

About You We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

*NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification or experience) in working with individuals


*Experience of delivering training, workshops, or group-based interventions (PTLLS or equivalent desirable)


*Solid experience working directly with individuals or families in a relevant setting


*A strong understanding of financial exclusion and its impact on households


*Knowledge of the benefits system and wider financial wellbeing support services


*Experience working with vulnerable groups, including families with complex needs


*Understanding of safeguarding for children and adults


*Confidence in multi-agency working and effective signposting


*Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team


*Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills


*A full driving licence and access to a vehicle


*Flexibility to meet the needs of Staffordshire residents
