Job Title: Technical Compliance Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Dunmow (Office & Site Based)
Term: Permanent
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday

Role Overview

An experienced Technical Compliance Manager is required to provide technical oversight, compliance support and on-site leadership across electrical projects. The role combines office-based supervision with leading larger installation and testing works, as well as training and supporting engineers and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities
*Act as first point of contact for technical queries
*Review and sign off EIC, EICR and Minor Works certificates
*Generate remedial quotations from inspection reports
*Lead larger installation and testing projects on site
*Conduct regular site and engineer audits in line with NICEIC guidelines
*Deliver toolbox talks and support engineer/apprentice development
*Support surveys, planning, risk assessments and project scheduling
*Check technical reports (PAT, thermographic, load monitoring, emergency lighting)
*Ensure paperwork and certification are completed accurately and on time
*Promote strong health & safety standards at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
*Recent experience as a Qualifying or Technical Supervisor
*Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
*ECS Approved Electrician Card
*Minimum 5 years’ commercial/industrial electrical experience
*Inspection, testing and certification experience
*PAT testing knowledge
*Strong understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards
*Computer literate
