Epicor 9 Technical Consultant – Contract

We’re supporting a client in the West Midlands who is looking for an experienced Epicor 9 Technical Consultant to join them on a contract basis.
This role is Outside IR35 and requires a strong on-site presence (multiple days per week). It’s a hands-on engagement working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants and third-party partners to support and enhance a live Epicor ERP 9 environment.
The Role You’ll take ownership of the technical development, configuration and integration of Epicor 9, helping to deliver stable and scalable ERP solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
*Epicor 9 technical development, configuration and optimisation
*Customisations using Epicor tools (Customisation, BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, forms)
*Report development using SSRS and Crystal Reports
*Integrations with third-party systems (REST, SOAP, web services, file-based)
*SQL Server performance tuning and troubleshooting
*Supporting upgrades, patches and service packs
*Diagnosing and resolving issues across dev, test and production
What We’re Looking For *Proven hands-on experience as an Epicor 9 Technical Consultant
*Strong understanding of Epicor 9 architecture and development framework
*Solid SQL Server / T-SQL skills
*Experience delivering ERP integrations and reports
*Comfortable being on site several days per week in the West Midlands
*Able to work independently and hit the ground running
Contract Details *Rate: Circa £500 per day
*IR35: Outside IR35
*Duration: 6 months initially, with potential extension
*Location: West Midlands (on-site multiple days per week)
