As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider school staff to support a pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development. You will provide tailored support to help the pupil engage with learning, develop independence, and feel supported throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities: * Provide one-to-one support to a pupil during lessons and activities.

* Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation.

* Adapt activities to meet the pupil’s individual needs.

* Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.

* Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents.

* Ensure safeguarding, inclusion, and well-being are prioritised at all times.

Requirements: * Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.

* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach.

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

* Ability to follow support plans and work as part of a team.

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
