Lincolnshire County Council is currently recruiting an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join a fast-paced safeguarding team.
Pay rates:
*£22.20 per hour (PAYE, exclusive of holiday pay)
*£29.98 per hour (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay)
The Role You will be responsible for undertaking statutory duties where safeguarding concerns have been identified. This includes completing Child and Family Assessments, working directly with children and their families, and collaborating closely with partner agencies to ensure children are supported and kept safe.
Key Responsibilities *Completing Child and Family Assessments
*Managing cases within Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) frameworks
*Undertaking safeguarding enquiries and direct work with families
*Working in partnership with multi-agency professionals
*Managing private and public law proceedings where required
Working Arrangements The team operates on a three-weekly duty system:
*1 week on duty (new case allocations – office based)
*2 weeks off duty
Requirements *Qualified Social Worker with relevant post-qualification experience
*Proven experience working within CIN and CP frameworks
*Experience of managing private and public law proceedings
*Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment
