Trainee Fund Accountant
Our client, a growing financial services business based in the Sevenoaks area is looking for a Trainee Fund Accountant to join their team.
This is an exciting new role offering full training, study support, and a clear progression path. It is ideal for someone with early accounts experience looking for a long-term career development in finance.
Duties to include:
*Drafting payments and reconcile bank and nominal ledger accounts
*Maintaining purchase ledger, sales ledger, and cashbooks
*Monitoring fund plans and tracking key financial deadlines
*Assisting with monthly and annual management accounts and audit preparation
*Drafting annual reports and calculate investor unit valuations
*Support the preparation of tax and VAT returns
*Carrying out general ad hoc finance duties
About you:
*Strong interest in accounting, finance, or fund administration
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
*Living close to Sevenoaks with own transport
*Experience in fund accounting or fund administration preferable but not essential
*Studying or planning to study
*Motivated and eager to learn
