A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Officer to join a leading organisation delivering procurement services to the social housing sector. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting tender processes and contract administration who is looking to develop further within a structured and supportive environment.
The Role As Procurement Officer, you will support the end-to-end delivery of procurement projects, ensuring all activity meets internal governance, legislation-including the Procurement Act 2023-and value-for-money standards. Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you’ll help coordinate tenders, manage documentation, and maintain accurate procurement records.
Key Duties Include: *Assisting with planning and executing procurement projects
*Preparing tender packs, issuing documentation, and coordinating clarifications
*Managing procurement inboxes and handling first-line queries
*Maintaining trackers, contract registers, and sourcing pipelines
*Supporting supplier engagement and building strong professional relationships
What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will:
*Have experience supporting procurement processes in a regulated environment (public sector, housing, construction etc.)
*Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Possess strong IT skills-particularly Excel, Word and document-management tools
*Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
*Have some exposure to contract administration and supplier management
