Marketing Automation Consultant
I’m supporting a business that is looking for a Marketing Automation Consultant who can take charge of delivering technical solutions and act as a key partner to their clients. The position involves running early-stage scoping conversations, mapping out what customers need, and guiding how marketing technology is set up and used.
You’ll play an important role in helping clients get real value from their platforms, ensuring smooth implementation and contributing to ongoing improvements across their marketing systems. What You’ll Do *Facilitate initial technical discussions to understand client objectives and translate them into clear documentation.
*Work alongside internal and client-side teams to outline solution approaches that follow platform-specific best practice.
*Convert high-level plans into structured technical documents that developers or technical teams can follow.
*Coordinate the rollout of new systems or enhancements, supporting data transfers and guiding users through new features and processes.
*Explore both established and emerging tools to enhance delivery quality and broaden service capabilities.
Skills & Experience Needed *Strong familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem in products like Pardot/MCAE, Marketing Cloud Engagement, and Data Cloud; relevant certifications are highly beneficial.
*Experience working with tools that support lead capture, qualification, analytics, or reporting.
*Ability to oversee full solution lifecycles, from early discovery through to go-live and user enablement.
*Solid project coordination capabilities, including handling timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
*Background in consulting or client-facing technical work, with an interest in improving how organisations use their marketing technologies.
