Pension Transfer Specialist
Manchester (Remote Working)

Recruit UK is partnering with a respected financial services firm to recruit an experienced Pension Transfer Specialist for their Manchester office.
The Role
Reporting to the Pension Transfer Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for assessing the suitability of pension transfer advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, high-quality client outcomes, and accurate reporting to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
*Review pension transfer cases and assess the suitability of advice
*Compare safeguarded, fixed, and guaranteed benefits against alternative pension solutions, including SIPPs
*Produce clear, well-supported suitability reports in line with FCA requirements
*Use appropriate analytical tools and data to support recommendations
*Own cases through to completion or escalation, meeting quality and service standards
*Maintain accurate records and complete all associated administration
*Provide regular MI and updates on output and quality
*Build strong internal relationships and engage with external introducers
Requirements
You must hold one of the following approved qualifications:
*PMI, CII, or Institute/Faculty of Actuaries (Associate or Fellow)
*G60 or AF3 (CII)
*Pensions paper of the Professional Investment Certificate (CISI / IFS)
Additionally, you will have:
*Minimum 2 years’ industry experience, with at least 2 years in pensions
*Strong analytical skills and a structured approach
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and client systems
*A professional, ethical, and enthusiastic approach
