The Role As Senior Finance Officer, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of the finance function, supporting both transactional processes and wider finance operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the sales ledger, including direct debits and payment queries

* Taking customer payments and handling account enquiries

* Monitoring overdue accounts and chasing outstanding payments

* Processing supplier invoices and reconciling statements

* Supporting purchase order and invoice approvals within the finance system

* Preparing supplier, staff and expense payment runs (including petty cash)

* Posting and allocating cashbook entries and managing pre-paid card transactions

* Supporting general finance administration and banking processes

This is a varied, hands-on position within a friendly and experienced finance team.
About You * AAT Level 2 qualified (or currently studying)

* Previous experience within a finance role

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Confident IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel

* Organised, proactive and able to work well within a team
