Zest Education is recruiting a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to support a school in Derby. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
*Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
*Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitise surfaces to a high standard
*Empty bins and manage waste safely
*Refill hygiene supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue
*Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
*Follow health & safety and safeguarding procedures
*Report any maintenance or safety concerns to site staff
Ideal Candidate
*Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial setting desirable)
*Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
*Understanding of safe working practices and COSHH guidelines
*Friendly, professional, and able to work as part of a wider site team
*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
