Site Technician (Digital Surveying)
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Site Technician (Digital Surveying) to join our well-established client based in Blackpool on a full-time permanent basis.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

This Site Technician (Digital Surveying) role is hands-on and site-based and would suit someone with experience in a field-based or technical environment who is looking to build a long-term career in digital surveying and BIM.

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Site Technician (Digital Surveying), your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Attending sites to capture building and spatial data using specialist scanning equipment
• Assisting with the deployment and maintenance of environmental sensors
• Uploading and processing captured data
• Supporting point-cloud registration and quality checks
• Preparing data for handover to the BIM and modelling team
• Following all health & safety, GDPR, and company procedures
• Liaising with site staff and internal teams
• Maintaining equipment and reporting any faults
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Site Technician (Digital Surveying), you will need:
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Experience in a site-based, technical, or field role (or strong interest in this type of work)
• Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems
• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach
• A practical, hands-on mindset
• Willingness to travel regularly to sites
Desirable Experience
• Exposure to construction, surveying, or engineering environments
• Basic understanding of CAD, BIM, or technical drawings
• Experience working with tools, equipment, or technical systems
Training Provided

• Ongoing development and progression support
