Job Description:
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking resilient, dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a SEND school supporting pupils with complex needs and very challenging behaviour.
This is a demanding but highly rewarding role, ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a real difference to the lives of children who need consistent, patient, and skilled support.
The Role: * Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
* Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour in a calm and safe manner
* Supporting children with a range of learning difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs
* Working closely with teachers and specialist staff to implement support strategies
* Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Previous experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs
* Proven ability to work with pupils displaying very challenging behaviour
* A resilient, patient, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable children
