Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing business to recruit a Toolroom Machinist on a full-time, permanent basis.
Role: Toolroom Machinist
Salary: £33,280
Shift Pattern: Days Shift Pattern
Responsibilities
*Repair, maintain and support press tooling, jigs and fixtures
*Ensure tooling is available to meet production demands
*Operate CNC and manual machinery including milling machines (HAAS), lathes and surface grinders
*Carry out bench fitting and precision machining to tight tolerances
*Support production and maintenance teams with general machining
*Maintain high standards of health & safety, housekeeping and machine care
Requirements
*Experience in a Toolroom Machinist or similar engineering role
*CNC setting and programming experience
*Background in manual machining (milling, turning, grinding)
*Confident using measuring equipment such as micrometers and gauges
*Understanding of lean practices and safe working standards
