JOB TITLE - Experienced SEN LSA (KS1)ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive Primary School in Bristol, working with children in Key Stage 1.
The school provides a nurturing environment with a strong emphasis on pupil wellbeing, personalised learning, and collaborative teamwork. Staff benefit from ongoing support, clear communication, and opportunities for professional growth.
This is a full-time position, and depending on performance, the school may look to extend the contract or offer a permanent role.
CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS *Location: Bristol
*Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant (KS1)
*Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
*Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day
*Hours: 8:20am - 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS To be considered for this role, you must have:
*Previous experience working as an LSA or Teaching Assistant supporting SEN pupils, ideally in KS1
*Strong understanding of SEN needs, such as Autism, SEMH, Speech & Language Needs, or Developmental Delays
*Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (within the last year)
*A calm, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting children
*Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
*A genuine passion for supporting young learners with additional needs
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: *Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an Enhanced Child-Barred List DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last 2 years
