Tutor Needed - Year 5 (English & Maths) - Basingstoke
Location: Student’s home in Basingstoke
Subjects: English & Maths (Primary)
Hours: 2 hours per week
Days: Monday or Tuesday (flexible)
Start: As soon as possible
We are looking for a patient, engaging Primary Tutor to support a Year 5 pupil in their home. The student has SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs and ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition), so experience or a strong understanding of these areas is essential.
About the role *One-to-one tutoring in the family home
*Focus on building confidence and progress in English and Maths
*Helping the student remain engaged with learning through tailored, structured sessions
*Creating a calm, supportive, and relationship-led learning environment
Requirements *Experience working with children with SEMH and ASC
*Strong background in Primary English and Maths
*Reliable, friendly, and able to build rapport
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
