The Firm
Our client is a leading City law firm with a strong international presence and a highly regarded Compliance & Risk function. The firm is currently enhancing its conflicts capability as part of the implementation of a new Intapp Conflicts and Intake system.
The Opportunity
The firm is seeking a Conflicts Lawyer to join its Risk Legal Team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role will support the transition to a more centralised conflicts clearance process and will work closely with the NBI Team and fee earners on complex conflicts matters. Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing and resolving complex conflicts reports
* Advising fee earners and Partners on conflict issues and resolution strategies
* Ensuring compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations (including STaRS)
* Supporting conflicts analysis for lateral hires
* Assisting with the development of conflicts policies, procedures, and training
* Supporting the rollout of the new Intapp system
Requirements
* Qualified lawyer with 2-4 years’ PQE and experience in conflicts
* Strong knowledge of professional rules and regulatory requirements
* Experience within a City or international law firm
* Exposure to US conflicts rules and Intapp Conflicts is advantageous
