About the Company
My client, a well-established property management company based in London’s West End, is expanding their Social Housing division. They are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager with solid experience managing HMO properties on the client side to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a busy, rewarding role where you will play a key part in ensuring the company’s residential assets are well maintained, compliant, and operating to the highest standards.
Role Overview
As Property Manager, you will oversee your own portfolio of HMO properties and act as the key point of contact for approximately seven operators who, in turn, manage relationships with social housing organisations. You will ensure properties remain compliant, safe, well-maintained, and financially managed.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage your own portfolio of HMO properties
*Oversee and manage the full check-in / check-out process
*Conduct audits relating to legal, safety, and operational standards
*Organise dilapidations and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
*Prepare and conduct regular property inspections
*Arrange internal maintenance, inspections, and repairs
*Monitor and maintain all residential assets
*Track expenditure and manage budgets
*Prepare property-related bills during void periods
*Obtain necessary licences for all assets
*Raise purchase orders (POs)
*Handle all insurance queries
*Monitor and chase rental income
*Work collaboratively with operators and social housing partners
What They’re Looking For
*Strong experience managing HMO properties (client-side experience essential)
*Knowledge of compliance and regulations within social housing
*Highly organised, confident managing your own portfolio
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
