Job Description:
Halliday Marx have partnered with a rapidly expanding Education firm who are looking to hire an Interim Group Financial Reporting Manager on an interim basis for 12 months.
Key responsibilities
*Ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial reporting
*Preparation and review of group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations
*Management of FX translations and foreign currency adjustments across the group
*Lead on acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocations and integration into group reporting
*Support the production of statutory accounts and act as a key contact for external auditors
*Ensure reporting is aligned with PE requirements, covenants, and investor expectations
*Review and improve group accounting policies, controls, and reporting processes
*Provide technical accounting guidance to subsidiary finance teams
*Support ad-hoc projects related to growth, restructuring, or system/process improvements
Non negotiable Requirements
*Immediately available
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
*3–5 years post-qualified experience
*Strong background in group financial reporting with proven experience of: Group consolidations, FX translation and multi-currency environments
*Acquisition accounting
*Experience working in a PE-backed or Investor led environment
