Job Title: Clinical Lead
Location: Residential Nursing Home

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Lead to support the delivery of high-quality nursing care within a well-established residential nursing home. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for an RGN or RMN-qualified nurse with strong clinical knowledge and a passion for guiding and supporting nursing teams.
You will play a key role in maintaining clinical standards, supporting staff development, and ensuring residents receive safe, effective, and person-centred care in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide strong clinical leadership and support to nursing and care teams.
*Ensure high standards of clinical practice are maintained across the service.
*Support the Home Manager with clinical governance, audits, and quality assurance.
*Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical risk assessments.
*Act as a clinical role model and mentor, supporting staff development and training.
*Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, policies, and best practice guidelines.
*Participate in incident management, safeguarding, and clinical investigations where required.
*Liaise with external healthcare professionals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Skills and Experience Required
*Registered Nurse qualification – RGN or RMN (active NMC PIN essential).
*Ideally 4–5 years’ post-registration experience, preferably within a nursing home or social care setting.
*Previous experience in a senior nursing, deputy, or clinical leadership role desirable.
*Strong knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance.
*Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
*Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.
*Passion for delivering person-centred, dignified care to residents.
