SEMH Teacher – Primary
Location: Harrow
Pay: £200 per day
Contract: Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary SEMH Teacher to join a supportive specialist school in Harrow, working full-time with pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a real difference to children who benefit from a nurturing, structured, and trauma-informed approach to learning.
The Role:
*Deliver engaging and adaptive lessons to primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs
*Create a calm, consistent, and positive learning environment
*Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development
*Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior staff
*Use behaviour management strategies tailored to individual needs
The Ideal Candidate:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
*Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour (school or alternative provision)
*Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
*Patient, resilient, and genuinely passionate about supporting vulnerable learners
