Product Designer
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Job Type: At least 3 days within the office. - full time.
A leading UK manufacturer of contemporary furniture is seeking an experienced Product Designer to join a creative, values-driven team. If you’re passionate about sustainable, functional design and want to see your work used in real outdoor spaces, this role offers the perfect opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop new products from concept to manufacture
*Improve and evolve existing product ranges
*Produce production drawings, BOMs and installation guides
*Create and maintain 2D & 3D CAD models
*Support bespoke client projects
*Manage product data within the ERP system
*Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Production
Requirements
*Degree in Product, Industrial or Design Engineering
*5+ years’ experience in product development
*Strong 2D/3D CAD skills (Inventor or similar)
*Understanding of sheet metal manufacturing
*Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
*Eligible to work in the UK
