MIG Welder required for a long-term assignment based in Peterlee, working within a modern, high-quality manufacturing environment.
This MIG Welder role offers excellent rates of pay, regular overtime, monthly bonuses and the opportunity to develop skills in a safety-critical, quality-driven operation producing heavy-duty equipment for global markets.
This will be a 2 year agency contract with 1 months’ notice given.


Role Overview – MIG Welder
The successful MIG Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for MIG welding and fabrication work to tight tolerances, following standard work procedures and working from build and welding fixtures.
The role requires a strong focus on quality, safety and teamwork.


What’s Required
*Proven MIG welding experience
*Ideally have experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
*NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
*Experience working to tight tolerances


Pay & Hours
*36.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
*3 shift rotation
*Shift rates from: £19.55 - £26.39 per hour
*Overtime Available
*Monthly performance and attendance bonuses

Skills Test
*All applicants must successfully pass a skills test prior to offer.
*A £150 trade test payment will be made once the test is passed and the successful candidate has started in the role.
