Meraki Talent are recruiting for a Tax Senior to join a well-established and growing professional services firm. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative tax team that values development, knowledge-sharing, and long-term career progression.
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, including sole traders and directors of owner-managed businesses, with exposure to more complex and high-value cases as you develop in the role.
The Role
*Preparation and review of Self-Assessment personal tax returns
*Completion of P11Ds, advice on benefits in kind, and preparation of PAYE Settlement Agreements
*Producing Capital Gains Tax calculations, including UK Property CGT returns
*Liaising with internal teams, clients, and HMRC via phone, email, and written correspondence
*Supporting ad-hoc tax queries and contributing to wider tax projects
Skills & Experience
*ATT qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
*Previous experience in a personal tax or mixed tax role
*Strong technical knowledge across personal tax, partnership tax, and Capital Gains Tax
*Confidence supporting and mentoring junior team members
*Experience using CCH is advantageous, though training can be provided
*Exposure to advisory work for owner-managed businesses (including IHT, CGT, Income Tax, and Corporation Tax) is desirable but not essential

Core values focus on collaboration, integrity, and delivering meaningful impact — both for clients and colleagues. Diversity of thought and background is genuinely valued, and the team strives to create a workplace where everyone feels supported and respected.
What’s on Offer
Alongside a competitive benefits package, the firm provides structured development opportunities, ongoing training, mentorship, and a clear framework for progression. Employees are encouraged to build both technical expertise and long-term careers within the business.
