The Company
Management Accountant - Hybrid - Study Support
Are you an experienced Management Accountant or part-qualified professional looking for a role where you can make an impact and grow? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team within a well-established business that has recently undergone significant transformation, including a new system implementation.
You’ll be joining a supportive, sociable team and working closely with senior finance leadership on a mix of core responsibilities and projects that will help shape the future of the department.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will:
*Take ownership of specific areas within the management accounts pack
*Assist in producing accurate monthly management accounts and departmental reports to strict deadlines.
*Support system processes and reporting improvements
*Collaborate with departments to interpret financial data and provide insight, not just transactional processing.
*Contribute to P&L reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and journal processing.
*Assist with cash reporting, treasury management, and ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
*Ideally qualified by experience, AAT, or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA.
*Solid management accounting background with strong understanding of accruals and core finance principles.
*Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
*Proactive, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to build strong relationships across the business.
*A "can-do" attitude with the confidence to challenge and improve processes.
