We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Team Leader to support our food manufacturing operation on shift. This role is ideal for an experienced, time-served engineer who is strong both mechanically and electrically, enjoys being on the tools, and is ready to take the next step into leadership.

Description
*Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.
*Oversee maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
*Monitor and analyse operational performance, implementing improvements where necessary.
*Collaborate with other departments to align engineering goals with business objectives.
*Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve engineering targets.
*Provide technical guidance and training to team members as needed.
*Ensure all equipment and machinery are maintained to a high standard.

2 Week of Days / 2 Weeks of Nights
07:00-19:00 / 19:00-07:00
Profile
An experienced Maintenance Engineer, ideally from a Food Manufacturing background, along with:
*Strong technical knowledge in engineering and manufacturing processes.
*Recognised engineering qualification
*Previous supervisory or acting Team Leader experience (12 months ideally)
*Understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
*Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
*Strong communication and team management skills.
