Job Description:
An established, family-run business is seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join its team. With multiple UK sites and a strong emphasis on valuing its people, this organisation is committed to maintaining a supportive, compliant, and high-performing workplace.
HR Advisor - Part Time (25 hours per week)
Location: West London + Multi-site travel (London, Bath, Bristol & Manchester)
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (pro rata)
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, flexible hours across 5 days
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic part-time role for an experienced HR professional who enjoys autonomy, variety, and the ability to influence HR practice across multiple sites. You will act as a trusted partner to senior leaders and managers, ensuring smooth HR operations and offering expert guidance on a broad range of people matters.
Key Responsibilities *Provide first-line HR advice across all employee relations matters
*Lead onboarding, contract changes, and offboarding processes
*Support managers with probation reviews and performance processes
*Coordinate learning and development activities and training needs
*Monitor and report on absence, supporting managers with next steps
*Coach and mentor managers to build confidence in handling HR issues
*Draft and review HR policies and procedures
*Support and lead recruitment activity across the business
*Collaborate closely with payroll
*Occasional multi-site travel to support local teams when needed
What You’ll Bring *CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
*Strong background in HR within a multi-site environment
*Confidence in advising and coaching managers
*Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
*Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
*Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
*Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office
