Gleeson Recruitment Group are representing an outstanding client based in Edgbaston near Five Ways as the recruit for a short term Accounts Payable clerk who we be able to manage AP function end to end.

They are a medium-sized organisation focused on delivering impactful services and maintaining strong financial processes.
Description
Duties and tasks of the Accounts Payable Clerk:
*Full day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable ledger
*Processing invoices on Sage, ensuring correct approval and coding
*Preparing weekly payment runs and monitoring bank position
*Processing personal expenses and petty cash/float reconciliations
*Making accurate bank payments and posting cash transactions
*Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving queries
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
*Proven experience in accounts payable within accounting and finance
*Strong knowledge of financial controls and regulatory compliance
*Excellent organisational skills to support junior team members
*Proficiency in financial software and systems
*The ability to identify and resolve escalated queries
*Exceptional communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
