HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver required, based in Portsmouth, Fareham and Southampton.
Renumeration.
PAYE - £17 per hour. £19 per hour after 8 hours with paid breaks.
Monday to Friday days. Ongoing work, with the possibility of a permanent position.
Essential requirements.
*Valid HGV class 2 (C) driving Licence.
*HIAB certification, brick grab and remote.
*Valid driver CPC and digital tachograph cards.
*Relevant knowledge of EU driver hour rules and working time legislation.
*Operate HIAB lorries in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
*Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely collection and distribution.
*Load and unload, ensuring securement of items during transit.
*Conduct vehicle inspections, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
*Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
*Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues.
*Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols during all aspects of driving and handling.
