Position Details:
*Location: Liverpool, L12
*Role: PE Teacher
*Type: Long Term
*Start Date: As soon as possible
*Contract Type: Temporary
*Full Time/Part Time: Part time- 4 days per week
*Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
*Pay: Competitive, paid to scale
Responsibilities:
*Planning Lessons: Designing engaging, age-appropriate physical activities that develop fitness, coordination, and teamwork
*Teaching Skills: Helping students learn and improve in various sports, exercises, and fitness techniques
*Ensuring Safety: Teaching proper techniques, monitoring activities, and enforcing safety rules to prevent injuries
*Inclusive Participation: Encouraging all students, regardless of skill level, to engage and enjoy physical activity
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
*Right to Work in the UK.
*Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
*Ability to provide two professional references (cover 24 months worked)/2 references where possible where you have worked with children
