Management Accountant - Exeter - Circa £50,000
A fast-growing Exeter manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to strengthen its finance function and support continued expansion. This is a small, practical, and ambitious team where you’ll work across all areas of accounts and management accounting, helping build better systems and improve processes as the company scales.


Your key responsibilities will include:
-Producing monthly management accounts, reporting packs, and balance sheet reconciliations
-Leading budgeting, forecasting, and accounting analysis for operational teams
-Carrying out variance analysis and providing clear financial insight to support decisions
-Developing and improving accounting systems and processes (Sage 200)
-Supporting the wider group with project work and growth initiatives


Who they’re looking for:
-MUST have manufacturing experience
-CIMA qualified/part-qualified; QBE considered
-Strong, hands-on accounting skills with the ability to "roll your sleeves up"
-Confident working in a small team with exposure to all areas of accounts
-Proactive mindset and keen to contribute ideas for future improvement
-Ambitious, with genuine career progression available across the group
