Finance Analyst – full or part time
Our client, a growing company within the logistics sector, is looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team.
This role could suit a graduate with strong Excel skills or an experienced Analyst/Accounts professional. Full training will be provided.
Both full time or part time will be considered, hybrid working and study support (AAT, CIMA or ACCA)
The core area of this role revolves around interpretation and checking of large amounts of received financial data and producing reports as well as some bookkeeping duties.
Specific tasks include:
*Interrogating incoming data files.
*Analysing delivery reports and follow up on anomalies.
*Flagging pricing, promotion or credit issues.
*Checking all incoming invoices for accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
*Reconciling and posting purchase/cost data to Sage.
*Bookkeeping – ledger work, reconciliations and reporting.
*Working closely with the sales team to ensure correct costings when quoting for new business.
*Dealing with customer queries
You will be a confident communicator with strong Excel skills - to include Vlookups and pivot tables, have excellent levels of accuracy, be methodical and focussed.
