Kitchen & Bedroom Sales Designer


We have a great opportunity for an ambitious and creative Kitchen & Bedroom Sales Designer to join our Sales Team.
Kitchenflair is an independent kitchen and bedroom manufacturer of affordable luxury bespoke kitchens, established in 1993. Our success over the years has been reliant upon completing the project for the customer to the highest standard and communicating throughout.
The responsibilities of the role, which require relevant experience, are:
*Designing and Selling bespoke & made-to-measure furniture
*Creating a vision for the customer, which may include consideration for other rooms in the home for the whole project, including Utility Rooms, Boot Rooms, Bedrooms, Pantry Rooms, etc
*Designing kitchens using CAD and undertaking consultations with the customer
*Being able to adapt kitchen styles and door ranges, to have a good understanding of market trends and look to future styles
*Local Home measures using their own car
*Working with customers on a local & national level and so being adaptable in approach, communicating via calls, emails and Zoom effectively
*Providing an itemised quote, being able to detail units and specifications, and working with TruBlue software
*Being proactive to seek out new business, looking at local and national opportunities for Sales growth
*Great time management for planning, designing and working with a customer on their project, along with understanding the customer’s needs
*Having excellent customer service skills and listening to customer requirements
For anyone with an excellent sales record along with kitchen design experience and further interested in interior design, specifically the heart of the home, having an eye for detail and offering a product which exceeds expectations, it is an ideal position to express your talents.
Our most successful designers have a good variety of experience and keep their interests in current trends and classic design. Organisation and self management of your time is essential and within a busy showroom, you can take ownership of your displays and future developments.
The role is ideal for someone who is focused and shows integrity, wanting to work for an independant company that is still growing and wants to be a part of that. The desire for increasing sales, looking at various avenues for gaining additional business and looking ahead at developments to be involved with.
The best candidate will have a can-do attitude, be enthusiastic about what they do, and not be afraid to go the extra mile with a customer – that may be offering a design they had not considered, having several design appointments, creating a design board to help them to understand options open to them.
The working week offers some flexibility, though you will be required to work on Saturdays in our Showrooms. We provide you with training and development around sales and alongside our supplier products to support you in being as successful as possible.
