They have a new role available for a candidate with Aerospace Freight operationalexperience to join a dynamic growing Aerospace team with this established Freight Forwarder based in Ashford Middlesex.
Role will involve all aspects of handling time critical shipments for Aviation clients from start to finish, Export and Import, including processing customs entries.
Looking for an experienced Air Freight Operator who is experienced in both Exports and Imports, Air, Road and Courier.
Duties will involve day to day operational handling of Aerospace shipments including -
*Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance at all times
*Act as the main operational point of contact for customers, suppliers, and overseas agents
*Coordinate airlines, carriers, and road partners to ensure optimal routing, capacity utilisation, and service continuity
*Proactively monitor live shipments, manage exceptions, and resolve issues to minimise disruption
*Maintain accurate and timely system updates, job files, and operational documentation
*Prioritise workload effectively to meet service level expectations and time-critical deadlines
This is a growing department and there is lots of scope for career progression.
Hours are Monday to Friday with some out of hours requirement for urgent AOG shipments.
Excellent basic salary up to £45K plus generous on call allowance, twice yearly bonus, private healthcare and 26 days annual holiday.
