Job Description:
Temporary Customer Service Assistant – Bristol (BS2) – £12.60 per hour We’re looking for an enthusiastic, friendly Customer Service Assistant/Receptionist to join a vibrant student accommodation community in the heart of Bristol city centre. This is a temporary role for a minimum of 3-4 weeks, starting immediately.
As the first point of contact for residents, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service and keeping the building running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities *Respond to enquiries from current and prospective residents across social media, email, phone and face-to-face.
*Sort and distribute incoming mail and parcels.
*Build positive relationships with residents through regular interaction.
*Conduct property viewings for potential residents.
*Take and process payments; monitor and follow up on rent arrears where required.
*Maintain accurate customer records and filing systems.
*Work closely with the maintenance and accommodation teams to log and resolve issues promptly.
*upport with organising events, open days and community activities
Ideal Candidate *Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
*Background in student accommodation, property, travel or hospitality is a plus.
*Warm, approachable and people-focused.
*Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Able to remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
*Comfortable working at pace and handling multiple tasks.
