Assistant Management Accountant – Eye, Suffolk – £30,000 – £36,000
If you’re looking to grow your management accounting experience in a hands-on, supportive environment, this role could be a great fit. You’ll join a well-established manufacturing business and work closely with the Financial Controller and Management Accountant across month-end, reporting, and analysis.
You’ll get involved in a wide range of tasks, from reconciliations and stock reporting to cost analysis and operational support — ideal if you enjoy variety and want to develop your skills.
What you’ll be doing
• Supporting month-end tasks, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing weekly/monthly inventory trackers and analysing stock movements
• Assisting with margin, cost of sales, and purchase price variance reporting
• Supporting overhead analysis and variance reviews
• Assisting with KPIs, audit preparation, and ERP/process improvements


What you’ll bring
• Experience in a finance environment
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with detailed financial data


Ideally, you will be AAT qualified or studying towards Level 4 or part-qualified ACCA or CIMA
