£23 per hour - 3-4 days per week (21 - 28 hours)
Initial 6-8 week contract - Immediate Start
Randstad are delighted to be working with a renowned East London university. They are recruiting for a Careers Coach to join their team, principally working with computing, engineering and architectural students to obtain work, placements and general career support.
This role is on an initial 6-8 week contract and based primarily on-campus.
Duties:
*Provide general careers information, advice and guidance to students and alumni looking for support from across our home and international community, cross disciplinary and across all levels of study
*Help design, develop and deliver employability workshops for students to prepare them for work as well as provide ongoing careers support and guidance.
*Provide both 1-2-1 and group appointments, coaching, e-guidance, telephone, drop-in sessions, workshops and online materials.
*Ongoing monitoring of all placements to ensure compliance and level of service is maintained for both students and employers.
Experience:
*Previous experience within a careers, employability or coaching role.
*Knowledge of the computing or engineering sectors would be advantageous.
*Comfortable providing both 1-2-1 and group-based support.
*An IAG qualification/relevant experience is ideal.
