Job Description:
Reed Recruitment is seeking a motivated and dynamic New Homes Sales Advisor to join one of our clients at a premium residential development in East Lothian.
This is a pivotal, stand-alone role, responsible for guiding potential homebuyers through the full purchasing journey while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate will be confident working autonomously, possess strong sales capability, and take pride in representing a high-quality new homes product.
With new senior sales leadership joining shortly, this is an exciting time to come on board, offering the opportunity to influence how the sales operation evolves within a growing, family-owned business.
Key Responsibilities
*Engage with prospective buyers to understand their needs, lifestyle requirements, and purchasing goals
*Conduct private appointments and property tours, showcasing the features, benefits, and value of new homes
*Manage the sales operation on site independently, acting as the main point of contact for customers
*Deliver a first-class customer journey from initial enquiry through to reservation
*Accurately complete reservation documentation in line with GDPR and compliance standards
*Utilise the CRM system to track leads, manage customer relationships, and monitor sales activity
*Analyse sales data and market trends to support informed decision-making
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market conditions, competitor developments, and community activity
*Liaise closely with the Site Manager and attend regular site meetings
*Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, to support lead generation and sales performance
*Maintain high standards of presentation across the sales area and show homes
*Follow up with leads and nurture relationships to maximise conversion

Candidate Profile
Essential
*Proven experience in new homes sales or residential property sales
*Ability to work independently and autonomously on site
*Strong sales skills with a customer-focused approach
*Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
*Confident using CRM systems, IT equipment, and standard office technology
*Strong understanding of GDPR and compliance requirements
*Full UK driving licence
Desirable
*Estate agency background
*Strong local knowledge of East Lothian
*Experience selling premium or high-value homes
*Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
Working Hours & Flexibility
*Core hours: Thursday - Monday 10:00am – 5:30pm
Salary & Commission Package
*Basic Salary: £27,500 – £30,000
*Commission & Bonus Structure
*Mileage paid
